Please read the following rules before nominating (I'll try to keep it short and simple).

All stories must be in English. I don't know about the rest of the judges, but I'm only fluent in one language.

Stories from all writing sites are allowed as long as an account isn't required to view the content. This would include sites such as: FictionPress, Quizilla, Fiction Central, Bnovel, Authonomy, Lemonfinger, Fan Nation, Worthy of Publishing, LJ, and anywhere else with stories.

Nominate each story once per category. The number of times a story is nominated does not affect its chance in getting onto the nominees list.

If the same story is on multiple writing websites, please only nominate that story once from one of the websites. As long as the story is the exact same copy, there is no point in nominating it multiple times.

A story may only be nominated for two categories per cycle. Even if the story is amazing, we have to make room for other stories as well.

Please make sure you have checked the specific rules for the category you are nominating in. You can find these rules on the categories page.

Poems are only accepted in Le Poetry Award category. Poetry is not accepted in any category except Le Poetry Award.

One-Shots are only allowed in L'One-Shot category. Unless the one-shot is more than 15,000 in words. Then, an exception may be made.

All stories must be original. Fanfictions are not allowed. Plagiarized works are also not allowed.
